Curriculum 2014/15 onwards - Doctoral academic studies
Educational aims of the Doctoral studies program comply with modern educational tendencies worldwide and with the needs of our society. They result from an objective perception of the necessity to educate staff with highest educational degree in the field of physical education and sport.

The Faculty of Sport and Physical education organizes the Doctoral studies with the following aim: to allow overall perception and understanding of the research process, especially experimental methods of human locomotion research, development of scientific field of physical education and sport, improvement of scientific research and professional work.

The Faculty of Sport and Physical education organizes the Doctoral studies with the following aim: to allow overall perception and understanding of the research process, especially experimental methods of human locomotion research, development of scientific field of physical education and sport, improvement of scientific research and professional work.

The aim of Doctoral studies implies acquisition of certain fundamental theoretic and practical, applicable knowledge, the use of relevant research methods and techniques, preparing students to follow modern literature, use data bases, modern equipment necessary for scientific research work, introduction of modern information and communication technologies, explanation of the research results and development of critical thinking.

Doctoral studies prepare staff to independently carry out original scientific research and develop new technologies and independent scientific work in accordance with the highest professional and ethical standards.

Through teaching, research and publishing the results of their work, students will be able to communicate with similar national or international institutions dealing with the same or similar problems.

Aims of the Doctoral studies curriculum are harmonized with modern trends of development of human locomotion and in compliance with fundamental tasks and aims of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.
